Community Solidarity Manitoba is organizing a May Day March & Rally, starting with a march from the Union Centre (275 Broadway) at Noon. The Winnipeg Labour Council and MFL invite union activists to attend.
We will march from the Union Centre (275 Broadway) at noon to the Manitoba Legislative Building at 450 Broadway, with the rally beginning at 12:15 p.m.
Speakers at the rally will be demanding more from the provincial government, including:
A liveable minimum wage
At least 10 Paid Sick Days for all workers
Changes to make it easier for workers to join a union
Full & equal rights for gig workers
Health Care for All, regardless of immigration status
