I started my career with Winnipeg Transit February 2010, over the years I've been part of trying to improve the workplace from being a Mentor to attending recruitment events. In 2017 I became an alternate on the Health and Safety committee and now have been the current co Chair from January of 2021. In 2019 I made the decision to become a Union Steward which brings me to my current roles of Recording Secretary of the Stewards committee and an Executive board member.
Outside of work I volunteer on local boards, currently the chair of the Balmoral Child Care Centre and am the Vice President of Teulon Minor Hockey. I also enjoy playing golf, hunting and fishing. Where I love to spend most of my time is with my family and watching my boys grow up.
