On the evening of June 16th, 2022, the City of Winnipeg announced the removal of the mandated requirement for City employees, including Transit workers. 

ATU 1505 is pleased to introduce this year's Honoree: Tadeusz Pilozow in recognition of his dedication and accomplishments.  There will be two (2) $500.00 scholarships awarded.

Councilor Devi Sharma brings awareness to the plight of Farmers in India and Workers at Winnipeg Transit Plus

The Councilor for Old Kildonan brought awareness to the issue of Farmers in India during the Council meeting on December 17, 2020.

The Councilor also brought awareness to the poor working condition of drivers who provide the service for the Winnipeg Transit Plus, formerly Handi-Transit.

The Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1505 acknowledges the work of Councilor Sharma in bringing this issue to light.
